Alex Russo is returning to Disney Channel and star Selena Gomez couldn’t be happier.
She stopped by Radio Disney this afternoon to chat about her homecoming on the channel with host Ernie D.
“I’m working on my new record and I had great projects I was a part of this year, but ‘Wizards‘ and Disney Channel and everything that is a part of this is my home,” she shared on the station.
Selena added, “I’m not ready for it to be over, so I just kind of want to do one more thing.”
But even more exciting news about the Wizards reunion, is that Selena will be producing.
“It was my idea to kind of start this, because I wanted to do it really badly. I want to make sure I promise the cast and the fans a really, really good hour-long event that they can enjoy and will leave them feeling good,”Selena said.
Yeay! Selena Gomez will be taking over Radio Disney to promote her new animated movie “Hotel Transylvania” on September 28, 2012. Here’s a note from the Radio Disney Twitter account:

We can’t wait to hear what Selena has to say about the new movie, and also about what else she is up to! We know that Selena has been back in the recording studio this month, and we can’t wait to learn about the music she has been working on!

Selena Gomez attended Ashley Tisdale’s recent birthday party on the beach in Malibu, California without her boyfriend Justin Bieber. Justin sent out a Tweet that he wasn’t feeling well and the next day photos surfaced of Selena and Alfredo Flores at the party having a great time – leaving fans to question if there was something going on between Selena and Alfredo.
Just days later breakup rumors about Selena and Justin hit the web and now a number of sources have come forward confirming that the couple are having problems. One source told People Magazine that Selena spent some of Ashley’s party crying over Justin.
