When she got her first inking in February she claimed she was done thinking about adding more to her body for now.

But some months down the line Selena Gomez has taken the plunge and gotten another permanent marking.

Selena recently got a tattoo across the back of neck, which spells 76 in Roman numerals and The tattoo was a tribute to a family member who she said means a lot to her.

She went to artist-to-the-stars Bang Bang for the new addition, visiting his New York City studio.

He apparently only spent 20 minutes carving the five letters into her skin and she seemed pretty pleased with the artwork.

On completion of the task Gomez posed in front of a mirror for her picture to be taken, her epidermis looking slightly sore and red from the experience.

She wore her hair up in a scruffy bun on top of her head and accessorised with gold hoop earrings.

Clearly grateful for her inking by the expert, she then posed for a snap with the man himself as he hugged and proudly pointed to his star guest.

Bang Bang – who has also worked on her Spring Breaker co-star Vanessa Hudgens – explained the number means something special to the singer and actress.
